Propstock is read by developers, funds, advisers and private buyers who arrive looking for a specific market. Placement sits next to that intent rather than interrupting it.

Who reads this

The site covers 30 markets through 30 city desks. Traffic concentrates on city pages, index readings and development coverage, which means a reader is usually on the page because they are working on that market, not browsing.

We do not publish audience figures on this page. Propstock is early and any number here would be a claim you could not check. Ask and we will send current traffic and register figures, stated as measured and dated, along with what they exclude.

Market sponsorshipStanding placement on a city page and its index readings, for advertisers with a position in that market.
Research underwritingSupport a quarterly report. The underwriter is named on the report and has no input into its contents or findings.
Wire placementPlacement in the daily bureau wire and in the news index.
Development featuresClearly labelled advertiser content about a specific scheme. Written by you or by us, never bylined to a desk.

What separation means here

The platform’s whole argument is that its figures can be checked. Advertising that could bend them would end that argument, so the boundary is a rule rather than a preference:

  • Advertisers get no input into index readings, market coverage, or which developments are written about.
  • Advertiser content is labelled as advertiser content wherever it appears, and never carries a desk byline.
  • Buying placement does not change a developer’s verification status. That is set by a desk against filings, and it is not for sale.
  • A sponsored market page carries the same readings it would otherwise carry, including unfavourable ones.

If a campaign requires an exception to any of the above, we are not the right publication for it, and it is cheaper for both of us to establish that now.
